Stockholm International Film Festival started in 1990 and the festival is today one of the Nordic region's largest film organizations and cultural events. The internships that we offer will provide skills in the areas of project management, service and logistics.

Interning at the Stockholm Film Festival means taking part in a fast-paced cultural organization with a broad network of contacts in both the Swedish and international film industry. Those applying should have good organizational skills, be stress-resistant and cooperative, be good at multi-tasking and of course love film.

As an intern you get to see the works of a major cultural event and claim experience for future work. You will also be able to tie important contacts for your continued professional life, and watch a lot of films.

Duration: September to November

The different departments where one could intern include;
Program: In charge over selecting the festivals films and set the festival program.
Guest: Invites guests from all over the world to take part in and enjoy the filmfestival.
Press: Writes press releases, handle the logistics for interviews and is the main contact for journalist.
Event: Arranges and in charge of the festivals different events.
Marketing: Handles all marketing for the festival.
Industry: In charge of planning festival acctivities aimed towards the film industry
Volounteer: Recruits the festivals volounteers and are their main contact.
Editorial: Writes and edits the yearly festival catalogue and guide.
