Drive-in Cinema at Solvalla
Sweden's largest Drive-in cinema is back! During three wonderful summer evenings in June, the Stockholm International Film Festival welcomes all film lovers to the Nordic region's largest trotting track, Solvalla! This year's film program offers all the nostalgia and action you could ask for from a classic Drive-in screening.
Between June 17th and 19th, the Nordic region's largest arena for trotting will be transformed into an outdoor cinema for the Swedish capital's car- and bicycle-owning film lovers. Last year's audience favorite, the road movie gem »Thelma & Louise« (1991) will be back on the screen again this summer. We will also screen Stanley Kubrick's horror classic »The Shining« (1980) and Quentin Tarantino's lovely love letter to Los Angeles - »Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood« (2019). The three-day long drive-in festival also includes screenings of the high-octane action adventure »Drive« (2011), the romantic summer flick »Dirty Dancing« (1987) and Steven Spielberg's critically acclaimed reinterpretation of the iconic musical »West Side Story«.
